Privacy
This notice covers two separate things: the Decide app on your iPhone, and this website. They are not connected, and neither one builds a profile of you.
The Decide app
Your selected apps, categories and websites, your areas, your times, your protection state and your phone activity stay on your iPhone.
There is no Decide account, no cloud synchronization, no advertising, no behavioral analytics and no AI service. Decide contains no networking code at all — not a disabled feature, but an absent one. Sending feedback opens your own mail app, with only the app version and iOS version filled in.
Your local information can be deleted at any time from Settings, using “Reset Decide”. Deleting the app removes it too.
This website
This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, loads no third-party script, embeds no video or social widget, and asks for nothing. It contains no forms and no JavaScript at all.
It would be untrue to say that visiting a website involves no processing whatsoever. Like any site, it is delivered by a hosting provider, and that provider necessarily processes limited technical request information — your IP address, a timestamp, the path you requested and your browser’s user-agent string — in order to serve the page and to protect the service from abuse.
Decide does not use that information to build an advertising or behavioral profile, does not combine it with anything from the app, and does not export it. Where the hosting provider allows retention to be configured, it is kept to the shortest operationally reasonable period.
What we never do
We do not sell or share personal information. We do not track you across sites or apps. We do not use an advertising identifier. We do not run session replay, heat maps or fingerprinting.
We do not claim end-to-end encryption, because Decide does not transmit your activity data at all — there is no channel to encrypt. The accurate statement is that your activity data is never sent.
Contact
Decide is in a private beta with a small group of adults, each using it on their own iPhone. Questions can be raised directly with the developer.
